Moving by yourself
Suitable when the load is manageable, the vehicle fits and reliable helpers are available. Include every trip, returning the vehicle, packing and who can safely carry heavy items.
Hire help for part of the work
Pack boxes yourself and book transport with loading. Or move smaller belongings yourself and leave large furniture to a crew. Agree the division of work before booking.
Full service
Ask for a list of included stages: packing, disassembly, carrying, transport, assembly and cleaning. “Turnkey” without a list does not make quotes comparable.
Three questions before deciding

- What happens if there is a delay, breakdown or a helper cancels?
- Which tasks can you realistically do safely yourself?
